    Thanks Brad!

Nigel Wilson that we grabbed off of the scrap heap in Miami continued his ridiculous run in California, as he improves his record to 6-0 with an ERA of 2.00 and a WHIP of 1.00 with 8 shutout innings over Batavia. This came on the heels of Tommy Campbell throwing a complete game shutout against Batavia. Sandwiched between those gems, was a brilliant 6 inning start by Kodiak rookie Tony Ramos who twirled 6 three hit innings only to watch the bullpen implode in the 9th, and lose in 10 6-5. We also lost two 1 run games to Windy City.

Stats wise and record wise, our team is a hot mess, but we do seem to play in a lot of close, exciting games, as we are 10-9 in one run games, and 3-5 in extra inning games.

In other news, newly acquired former first round pick Deonte Perry, acquired in the Figueroa trade, welcomed himself the Bakersfield by batting 0.353 with 3 HR and 3 RBI... Nice first week young lad!

Love to see ex-sharks doing well! Everyone should get players in my block to improve their records! I keep saying it!

6-1 home stand for Seattle against the Dinos and Tobs. The Pilots are playing their best baseball of the season and are now WC #4 and just three games back of the Bock. I think the bullpen is finally figured out with the recent call ups of minor leaguers Sonny Wilson and Rory Piechowski. The rotation is still a mess with TJ Broughton, Joey Johnson and Joey Schultz (ML FA signed last month) all slated to get starts this week. And after struggling in April, FA import DH Josh Wright has now hit .260+/.800+ in May/June.

Down in the minors SS Pat Holes is finally starting to show why he went 21st overall in 2029. After four seasons in RL and one in Single-A, he's really started to hit. In 37 Single-A games he hit .333/.903 and in 15 Double-A games he's at .421/1.041. According to my scout he has some of the best defensive potential at SS in the BLB at 80-80-70-70. I don't think he will keep up his hitting but if he can even produce at a near league average level, he should be a good player.
