Seattle has not only their first winning sim of the year (4-2) but also their first sweep (3-0 vs. Denver). Despite how poorly we have played the first two months, we are just 4.5 games back of the WC. Unfortunately the fans aren't as excited and this is on pace to be our worst attendance percentage in a long, long time.

We made a few ML bonus deals with some veteran pitchers. It's going to take a committee to get this thing turned around and we are going into debt to do it.

5-2 for the Bats is our best sim of the season. Our lineup has finally started to show some signs of life after a really rough start. We'll get Davidson and Thornton off the DL now, so hopefully they'll provide more of a spark than the did before getting hurt.

It could have been a better sim had we not blown 2 late inning leads in Baltimore. We countered it by staging a late comeback of our own, but this bullpen is becoming a real issue for us. I think we led the IL in bullpen ERA last season, so I'm not sure why this group is so far behind that pace, but it's a major concern. Fenton Soto has been awful since midway through last season and doesn't appear to be finding his rookie form anytime soon.
