We aren't there yet and I was only kidding.

However, in a scenario that Funclown suggested, where OOTP just isn't producing quality pitchers like it used to and the average game is 12-11 instead of 5-4, we would have to do something.

I know I was just dicking around.

I feel like there’s been an uptick from 18. Although if Rocco keeps his shit up I may throw my laptop outside.

Plus, you could argue the DH cancels itself out. If we didn’t have the DH, you’d have some 25-35-60 guys playing OF.

Right now the league average runs per game is holding, its even down a little.

The worry is obviously down the road. The lack of quality out of the college ranks however has become very disturbing the past 2-3 drafts in terms of quality starters.

Denver takes C Isaiah Rayfield and CF Rick Watson with back-to-back picks in the second round.

In Rayfield, we project a good hitting, above average power bat with decent plate discipline. Isaiah will need to work on two-strike counts and his defense behind the plate.
Though he will get early work as a catcher, there remains the possibility he will also get work at 1B.

Rick Watson is the 2033 NCAA Regionals MVP after hitting home runs in all three games against North Carolina. However, we project him to not be a power hitter, but more so a high contact hitter with great speed and the ability to play almost anywhere on the diamond. Could be a super-utility guy in the BLB.

I like the Watson pick as he was near the top of my board for my selection coming up.

My scout isn't super impressed with his bat but statistically, he reminds me of a different PAC-10 CF I drafted in Hisanobu Maeda. He can defend, he's fast, durable and high work ethic. I was worried a bit about the 57 strikeouts in 49 games this year but I do like the selection.

Oh! and my scout loooooooooves Peter Moss Lintyfresh85

The end of our two round six pick bonanza... We ended up with four guys my scout really liked, and two guys that OSA (wild cards) seemed to really like.

1.2 2B Brendan Santoro... A high OBP player with limited power, but should develop into a solid defensive second baseman.
1.3 3B Logan Jacobi... Should provide strong 3B defence, and both OSA and my scout like his contact/power potential.
1.10 CF Alwan Hidalgo... A total OSA wild card (or bust)... Not sure why I went with this pick, as he was not even on my board... I guess with the third top 10 pick, it seemed like a good 5 tool gamble.
1.24 RF Carter Pulley... My scout really likes Pulley's bat and he has the potential to play at least a competent corner outfield spot.
2.6 RF Brevin Guo... Another 20 year old that is well developed (great #s a year ago) with the potential to play both corner spots well, and centre adequately enough to be backup.
2.10 LF Calvin Porter... Another 17 year old OSA darling.

Time will tell how this bevy of picks played out, but we got a good mix of infield and outfield prospects, and a nice mix of college and high school players.

C Isaiah Rayfield is a very interesting player. Was looking at him in round one.

The lack of quality CFs gives Watson a big bump for me. My scout doesn’t think he’s all world at CF, but his stats this year jump off the page defensively.

Rayfield has been very consistent in his two seasons at Clemson. He gave up some homeruns for doubles this season, but its still translates to being a very solid hitter. My scout likes this guy better then OSA, but the reason I didn't draft him was that very reason. I try as best as possible to get alignment between my scout and OSA.

I was watching him to possibly trade up in the second round had he slipped further.
