2-4 sim. Swept 3-0 in Seattle by the Tobs, then took two out of three in California. The Pilots are the worst defensive team in baseball and despite monster seasons so far from Johnny Swope, Mat Barone and Hideki Nakayama, the lineup ranks 9th in the IL in runs scored.

We are making a call up from Triple-A that will put us over budget for the season, something I haven't done at this point in the season in a long, long time. SP Jamie Marley is the next man up. He's a 35-year-old lefty who can hit 99 on the gun who posted a 3.8 WAR in DC's Triple-A last year. Hopefully he can be ok.

5-1 sim. Swept Denver in Baltimore before taking 2 of 3 in Carolina.

We had the strongest month in probably the last 3 or 4 years (definitely the last two).

Offensively, we are anchored by the sudden explosion that is Dusty Janson. Janson who just turned 30, won his first career IL BOTM Award with a .396/.826/1.278 slash line for April. I thought he could excel in Baltimore but I could never have imagined this level of play. I also believe his play has made 1B Bruno Damours more impactful as the 27 year old has posted a 184 OPS+ so far this season. We have also had strong performances from SP "Godzilla" Ono and 26 year old lefty, Fred Smith. Both pitchers are undefeated for the month of April posting a 2.36 and 2.43 ERA, respectively.

I know there is a long time to go, but it feels good that we haven't already lost the Stout race in April.

                    Trade Denver.

We have a lot of guys itching to help your team win. Because then they, you know, win. Which is always nice and is one of those things that players prefer during what can be a very short career.
