Seattle goes 4-3 on the road against California and New York, with two losses by one run. A little early to buy into the standings but already .5 games back of LA/WC and both PHO/DEN went 3-3. The Bock should be a competitive division.

After the first week the Pilots are the worst defensive team in baseball. I expected a step back but that is a bit worrisome. The star of the sim has to be 32-year-old veteran SP Joey Johnson. I scooped him up early in FA for $280k and despite being day-to-day with a bicep strain he pitched 7.1 innings, giving up one run, no walks and three strikeouts in a 2-3 loss at New York. I don't expect to be this good but always fun when these under the radar signings have good games.

A lot of names on waivers this week. For Seattle, only OF Micah Dozier. A few teams have shown trade interest in him the past few seasons but now that he's out of options and I have no room, he hits the wire. A lot of teams, actually the vast majority can't claim him as he costs $280k. So if you are interested, feel free to send me a message and we can work out a small deal.

4-2 against Hartford and Zombie Vegas, but unfortunately lost Caskey for a month and change. Wanted to stick with a 13 man bullpen but I might have to audible early.

We went 2-3. We lost Dave Theisen for 4 months, while our lineup had a robust .169/.193/.260 slash line as a team.
