Good week for the Bats. We won 2/3 against Baltimore before hitting the road to sweep California. We're building a pretty comfortable lead in the Stout at the moment, but still plenty of games to play.
We were led by our pitching staff this week, as we have been most of the season. We gave up just 11 runs over the 6 games, and 8 of our runs allowed came in one game (a 9-8 win). So, good work from everyone other than Van Westen who was roughed up in the high scoring game.
Dave Theisen made a couple of rehab starts and will now rejoin the BLB roster, so our pitching staff should get a nice boost for the stretch run. Our next 13 games are all in DC, so hopefully we can keep up the good play.Washington Bats, 2013- -
