    Thanks Brad!

Pilots go 5-2 (3-1 at WC, 2-1 vs. NY)

I haven't had a team with this much pitching or this much defense in a long time. Thanks Shark for the tip!

Rocco looking studly out of the pen early on and Branum has been showing out ever since I called him a bust.

            Reverse psychology.

Continuing the surprise showing in California... The middle of our bullpen, and our starters continue to be a bit of a mystery, but the young guys have so far showed themselves well in the first quarter of the season. We have been at home... a lot! We'll see how the next few weeks pan out, as we travel out on the road for twelve of the next eighteen games.

5-2 for the Bats. 3 wins in Extra innings and the other 2 were by 1-run in 9 inning games, so lots of tense moments. We're still not quite clicking on all cylinders, but so far we're staying in decent shape in the standings.

Bad news for the week as we lost Alex Salazar for 14 months. He's 38 years old, so that's not great. He's been a rock for me out of the bullpen since he came over, so it's a big loss. Losing him and Theisen for so long puts us in a tight spot with the pitching staff

I'm still waiting for most of the lineup to show up, but Dave Davidson is having a good year. Maybe he'll be the star I hoped for when he was picked.

Jaylin Richardson and Manny Eguia are both on waivers. Richardson should be able to hit, according to my scout, but I'm done with him. Eguia probably wouldn't have been waived had I known Salazar was about to get hurt, but those are the breaks. Claim them or trade for them.
