Thanks Brad! The early morning sims are so, so nice...Seattle goes 4-2, winning 2-1 vs. both CAL/PHI. Still 1.5 games back of Denver.

We did lose SP/RP Robby Umlauf for the year with a ruptured finger tendon. He had been a big part of our middle relief, tossing 112 innings on the year in 52 games. Not a huge loss as rosters expand today and bullpens are shortened in the post-season, but I was planning on moving him to SP for the remainder of the year.... I guess that will be his role next year. No big names being called up but Seattle will be at 38 for September 1st. Probably 40 by the end of it. A lot of situational relievers and depth pieces off the bench.

The Seattle minor league affiliates lost all three opening round games: 1-2, 1-5 and 0-1. Down in Rookie League the Cleveland Bobcats (SEA) are 42-20. Playoffs after next sim.


Request: It appears Indy, JJLinn forgot to move RF Tom Lauhoff to a minor league team before his DFA was up. I know JJ is out of town and I'd hate for a guy he just traded for end up on someone else's team.
