    Thanks Matt!

The Pilots go 0-3 hosting New York, then bounce back by winning three of four against Windy City. Seattle is now 1.5 back of Denver for the Bock and .5 games back of New York for the #2 wild card. SP Pat Goldsmith might be putting together the strangest season from a SP in BLB history. The 40-year-old is now 10-7, with a 6.21 ERA and 1.60 WHIP but somehow is on pace for a 3.2 WAR! He also threw a no-hitter this year...

The BLB gods strike again. After 100+ games of having two (healthy) RH catchers on the roster, Seattle makes a trade for a LH in McClelland from Baltimore. To fit him on the roster, the Pilots waived C Dwayne Boyles. Then, Dusty Reger goes down with a three week injury, leaving only McClelland (tired) on the active roster this week. We are now forced to promote either A.) a prospect who isn't quite ready/I didn't want to call up until next year at the earliest, or B.) call up a player who has no business being on a BLB roster.

Good week for the Bats. We took 2/3 in Phoenix before continuing our road trip with a 4-game sweep of New York. Our only loss came when we couldn't manage to score a single run in a 10-inning loss, so as long as we managed to put one runner across the plate, we won. Philadelphia matched us win for win, so the division lead is stuck at 10 for now. A lot of time left, but we're on pace to be perhaps the best team I've had, by record.

It was another good week for our pitchers. Dusty Borchers moved to the rotation and had two really good starts. He's been really good out of the pen, but with a long stretch of games without a break, he gets to start and was just as good doing that. At the plate, Jamie Nickerson had his best week of the season and my two headed monster at catcher continued to lead our offense.

We're still on the road this coming week, at Carolina and then at California. Hopefully we can maintain the good play. Trade deadline is this sim, maybe I can find a piece to add as well.
