It was a good week at home for the Bats, we swept Windy City and Denver for a 6-0 week.

For the most part, they were close, low scoring games. We've been pretty good at winning those, and we won three games by one-run, two in walkoff fashion. We were carried by our pitching staff, which allowed just 10 runs this week. The bullpen was particularly dominant, throwing 16 scoreless innings, only allowing 5 hits.

One member of that bullpen, Fenton Soto, won IL Pitcher of the Month for July. He threw 14.2 innings in the month without giving up a run, striking out 23 and walking only 2. He had some rough patches earlier, but he's been a really good addition for this team even at the price.
