Second straight year I’ve had an 0-6 sim catalyze our decline. This team is ballsack.

5-1 week for the Bats, sweeping Windy City and then taking 2/3 from California, all on the road. We hadn't been too good on the road yet this year, so it's a good week for us.

      Highlights of the Week:

Ian Lisch won IL Player of the Week. He's our first winner of the season. I've often complained about him, he just never seems to hit to the level my scouts think he should. But, this week he hit .448 with 2 HRs and 9 RBI. Good week, but I'm not sure they picked the right Bat for PotW. Josh Allen hit .471 with 4 HRs, though in fewer at bats than Lisch had. It was a good week at the plate for hitters as we scored 40 runs and hit .310 as a team.

My pitching also continues to do well. Dave Payette had a rough start this week, surrendering 8 runs in 3.2 innings. We rallied to win that game, thankfully. Other than that game, the rest of my guys had a good week. We now lead the IL in starter and bullpen ERA.

It's going to be a tough week coming up. We head to Denver for 3 games, where they swept us earlier in the season. Then we head home to face the red hot Freedom. Stout race is likely going to tighten up.
