4-2 sim for the Pilots (1-2 at BAT, 3-0 vs. LAD). After losing two close games to the lowly Red Jackets mwetts, the batters took it out on the Dinos winning 17-6, 10-2 and a 2-1 nail bitter with the game-tying run stuck on second base and the #5 hitter 1B Ed Mossberg striking out swinging on a full count. At 8-5, the Pilots are THIRD in the Bock behind 10-3 Windy City and the 9-5 Denver Banks. Still over a week away from Bock divisional play.

Outside of SP Pat Goldsmith the other four starters have sub 2.50 ERA's and the bullpen is best in the Import League. But in typical Pilots fashion, we lose the close ones. 2B Hideki Nakayama returns from the DL this week and SS Nehemiah Daniel has one more week there until he starts his rehab. It should shape up for an interesting season as this is the lowest player payroll team we have had since 2025.

Around the league... the defending champs are rolling in Hartford, Turrell Morris is on pace for 95 HRs and Pang "Freeze" Shuai is on pace for a 10.9 WAR season. Yay.
