      Thanks Matt!

Seattle closes out the year going 6-1 at home vs. WC/PHX to clinch home field throughout the playoffs. 3B Johnny "Big Stick" Swope took home just the third Triple Crown in BLB history!

Congrats to all the playoff teams and good luck.

League average ERA in both leagues over 4. OOTP 19 better give us some dope ass pitchers because 18 has been incredibly harsh to them. I don’t even think it’s injury related; there just haven’t been that many great guys generated.

Should be a fun first round- I'm not eager to face this Denver team

Denver is not an easy matchup with Stokes and Hamada. My offense is going to need to bring its A game. I didn't really adjust my rotation ideally (waste to have Schick pitch that last game of the season). Will have Jamie Pierce and Ivan Sepulveda open the series and keep Schick in line to start game 3 if that's needed.

It does feel like we're in a down period for pitchers. About a decade ago we had a bunch of dominant arms in the league - in 2019 the IL ERA was 3.27. Certainly seems like a shift happened sometime since then and fewer top-quality pitching prospects have been created/developed.

Bats go 3-4 to have our first losing week in a while. It didn't cost us anything and we weren't going to catch Seattle even if they had a bad week, which they didn't. So we finish up 104-58, winners of the Stout and the #2 seed in the IL playoffs.

I tried to give my guys a rest this week, with my top 3 pitchers and constantly injured Bert Garza taking the week off. Rookie sensation Jamie Waldron picked up a DTD injury but he'll be 100% before we play again. We'll be completely healthy for the ILDS, since Freddie Mangan is also now recovered. His job has been taken by another rookie, Dave Davidson. "Cabfare" Davidson has really heated up in the past month and is starting to look like one of my better hitters. Hopefully the form continues in the playoffs.

We're certainly not the favorite in the IL, but maybe this is the year for my Bats to finally break through.
