      Thanks Matt!

Seattle goes 2-1 at Carolina/California. The Pilots are tied with Maine for HFA at 91-45. The Guides have 14 remaining at home and an opponent winning percentage of .501, while Seattle has 17 home games remaining an an opponent winning percentage of .472. Washington is only four games back and has 18 remaining home games and an opponent winning percentage of .444. It could come down to #162. Not sure how much rest my guys will get but at least a six man rotation and heavy amount of defensive replacements and pinch runners/hitters. There are still a few players who will battle it out for the final few spots on the playoff roster.

In transactional news, Seattle will call up SP Joey Schultz and RP Chaz Burns for the remainder of the year to help with the pitching depth. I wasn't thinking and should have added both to the 40-man roster before September 1st. Schultz unwilling to sign a minor league extension but was a pretty good arm in Baltimore for a number of years. He has one more arbitration year left so I figure he's worth a look. Burns was selected in the Contraction Dispersal Draft from Davenport. He's also unwilling to sign a minor league deal and the 26-year-old has a 1.16 ERA and .99 WHIP the past two years as my Triple-A closer. For $280k, he's probably coming back.

Down in Rookie League the Seattle affiliate Cleveland Bobcats finish with a league best 51-17. Our top draft pick of 2030, 1B Fitzpatrick Fisher, is out four days with a viral infection.
      Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
      Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
      Washington Bats - 1979-2013
