Thanks Brad! Happy Super Bowl Sunday!

Seattle goes 6-0 on the road against Batavia and Windy City. Nice to follow up our worst week of the season with a rebound on the road. The Pilots pitching held the Red Jackson and Blues to a combined eight runs over six games.

Besides CL Ian McManus who is out for the year, Seattle is at full strength for the first time all season. Robby Goss, Nehemiah Daniel and Jimmy Edge have all returned the past two weeks and with no minor league season to play, their rehab stints are over. The Pilots won't be able to rest down in order to keep pace with Washington for the #1 Import League seed and with Maine for potentially home field throughout. With how Philadelphia is playing, they could even catch us if we slow down at all.

In the minor league playoffs however, the Seattle affiliates are done. In Triple-A we lost in the first round to DC, in Double-A we lost in the first round to Batavia and in Single-A we also lost to Batavia in round two. In rookie league, the Seattle affiliate in Cleveland is the first to clinch a playoff birth with a league best 42-14 record. Maybe we can have better success down there.

We are somehow staying in this race...Our starters are all 26 and under, and our pieced together roster of Morla, a couple stars, a few rentals, and a couple of prospects is scoring just enough runs to make it work...

Our remaining schedule is ridiculous, but hopefully we can play some good baseball to make the games meaningful...

Oh, yeah... Bing-Zhang Lopan is starting to look like the player we hoped we were getting in 2nd round in 2026.

In August he's batting 0.337 with 7 home runs and 19 RBI, as he tries to pick up the Redding and Thomas slack!
