    Thanks Brad!

Seattle struggles on the road this week against Batavia and Washington going 3-3. After losing the opening two games to the Red Jackets, the Pilots escaped with a 2-1 win in the 12th inning. Traveling south to DC, the Pilots won two close games and losing a blowout 0-10. No injuries.

Quietly, SP Eliott Paul is 15-1.

Solid week for the Bats, sweeping Los Angeles before losing 2/3 to Seattle. Just couldn't win the close ones against the Pilots. We're not playing poorly, but our division lead shrinks every sim since Philly is still red hot.

It was a really good week of pitching for us, as our staff combined for a 1.67 ERA. Pat Arballo won Pitcher of the Month and is even more quietly 15-1.

Pawtucket weathered the horrible June storm and actually put up a winning month in July somehow. Dave Ingram is back (Thanks Tom Aiello for trying but back to AAA for you) .

We still are fighting thru this "cold" spell of several players despite the "Happy" team clubhouse thru this whole season. HOPING team chemistry counts for something?

Long story short, despite our meager payroll and a completely stupid June were actually in the hunt!!!(Wildcard) The whole goal this season was to make a shit ton of money, hold onto to our fanbase while not taking on much more debt. We seem to be hitting those goals. Anything else we can do would be a nice bonus.

LEAGUE REMINDER: For those that do care, AAA, AA and A have only two weeks left before the post-season. This leaves teams with quite a few options:

-Going full strength to try and make the playoffs.
-Shut down a pitching prospect who has already exceeded their career high in innings.
-Line your rotation up with the remaining games so your top of the rotation is rested for the playoffs.

Remember, too, that the Rookie League season still has a month left of the season. So any Single-A player who struggled this year but is 21 or younger, can be moved to RL for more reps down the stretch.

I messed up my extension with McVicker somehow. It should be 5th year vested with 185IP, not 185GS, which is obviously not even possible. I'd like to fix it, but not sure what protocol on this is. I understand if I need to leave it.

That's his fault for signing a contract with a vesting option that requires him to start over 46 games a season?!

I think this actually works out better for you... If's he crap by then, he won't reach it.

I also got an email I have never seen before...My trainer told me that CL Ian McManus is "making great progress and will be 100% in 4-5 months." Which is encouraging, however my scout simultaneously told me this sim that McManus stuff rating has dropped from 75 to 70.

Losing games to the Tobs is unacceptable.
