    Thanks Matt!

Is anyone else seeing weird stuff in the utilities? I'm getting my last sim record is 21-14. Don't get me wrong, glad it's a winning sim.

Thanks for the Live Sim Matt!

      Seattle Pilots

The Pilots won both home series 2-1 against the Phoenix Roadrunners and the New York Knights. All decisive wins (or losses) with no game closer than three runs. The third game of the season didn't sell out, which might not be a good omen for the box office. But a good showing against the defending champs and a revamped Phoenix squad.

3B Johnny Swope won IL Player of the Week (11/25, 4 RBI, HR) but the star of the week was SP Pang "Freeze" Shuai who went 8 IP, 3 H, 0 R, BB, 9 K, in a 7-0 Opening Day win over Phoenix, out dueling Ed "Dropkick" Carroll. He was on a 100 pitch count otherwise I'm sure he would have finished the game. Ironically, his makeup reminds me a lot of what the Pilots inaugural amateur pick was supposed to be in P Tom "Domino" King.

In transaction news, we signed 1B Dave Hodge to a one-year $750K contract. The 28-year-old was not offered arbitration by Philadelphia and got passed over for other FAs. I don't really have a need for him but he has a BLB 162 of .314/.888 and a 5.0 WR over five seasons. Maybe my scout is missing something. As a LH 1B, he's behind 1B Robby Caddell and DH Jimmy Edge for reps but it's a long season.

I bet it counted ST since I didn't update it during that stretch. Sorry.

Your scout isn't missing anything. That's an amazing bargain. Hodge for under $1 million is criminal and too many GMs with money should be smacking themselves for letting him slip to you.

Denver goes 3-3. Lost the series against California and bounced back to win the series against Baltimore.

Figueroa started 0-16 I believe which is very unusual. He's also 0-2 in stolen base attempts. I'm sure he will pick it up.

Healey is the man. Melendez was our primary run-producer.

And Nieto had a really strong week.

            The bullpen sucks.

I was considering it because my owner gave me $1 million to spend (thank you oh benevolent one), but I have no room. Williams was anther good late signing.

3-3 for the race car bros despite Bess, Branum, and Porter starting slow so I’ll take that and run.
