    Reminders:

-This is the sim where Spring Training Rosters are now open. You can move minor leaguers to the "Spring Training Roster" and they will play in spring without receiving a BLB contract. Be sure not to move them to the 40 man roster unless you want them to start their clock. I usually go full 40 just to give some youngsters a couple reps and to not overwork my pitchers. Not everyone does that though as there are limited reps and you need to get the rust off.

-A handful of teams that still need to sign personnel: Batavia, Miami, New York, Pawtucket, Toronto, Syracuse, Phoenix...

-There is still some decent talent left in FA. If you have money left over take a look as demands drop considerably this sim now that we are at Spring Training.

-And don't forget to fill out your minors!

    Seattle:

-I'm going full 40 for Spring Training but nothing too exciting. The only real position battles are for platoon or backup positions. The most interesting one between RH catchers Dusty Reger and Gustavo Castelo. Dwayne Boyles is the incumbent and his regular role is in jeopardy. The previous two seasons I scooped up a LH catcher late in Free-Agency but this year we will be all righty behind the plate. Reger and Castelo rank as the #1 and #2 hitters in AAA, but I don't think they project to more than average at the BLB level.

-Pretty excited to see what SP Pang "Freeze" Shuai does in his debut starts. He's schedule to make his first appearance in Game Two of ST against the defending champions in New York.

-Also pleased to have 1B Robby Caddell back in the lineup for the first time since he ruptured his achilles and missed 90 games and the post-season. He's not a household name but he's a big part of our lineup (.301/.908 in 969 PA).

-Besides that, just want to get last years in the rearview mirror. Seattle was on cruise control the entire 2nd half and lost to the eventual champs in Game 5 of the ILDS. Besides "Freeze" coming in to replace SP Enrique "The Artist" Bernardi, the roster looks nearly identical, besides a few platoon, or back-end bullpen guys. The division looks a lot different after Death Valley was swapped with Los Angeles and Denver went on a spending spree. But also California ranked high 3rd on the WAR gained this off-season.

Not much to report on Denver. Except for short stop, second base, first base, left field, closer, and 2/5 of the rotation, we too are returning the same team.

The focus is on determining which relievers stay up and hoping Matt Healey quickly learns some 1B.

Other than that, I can't really think of what else to look for.

Nothing in LA, aside from the move to another division, we three are returning the exact team we had last year.

Pawtucket improved its bullpen and kept it cheap.
