    Thanks Brad!

(3-4: v CAL 1-3, v BAT 2-1) It took a 9th inning walk off home run to avoid getting four game swept by the Kodiaks and one of the wins in Batavia was a 1-run nail bitter. But, Seattle has been resting guys and was able to avoid injury. Nothing too exciting to report on. There are a few backup hitters and middle relievers battling for the playoff roster but this group has been on cruise control for awhile.

Two weeks left but still a lot to be decided: HFA in the DL, seven teams still have a realistic shot at the DL WC, the Stout in the IL and six teams competing for the IL WC.

Pour one out for Josh Benjamin Delandis
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013

4-2 for the Bulldogs as we take a tenuous, 1-game lead in the Stout.

With only a 4-game gap between winning the Stout and the last Wildcard spot anything can, and will happen.

I'm really liking the player that Pat James has become. He's a REALLY good hitter and with all of the likely left handed pitchers we are going to face in the playoffs, we'll need him to be at the top of his game.

We will have a crucial 3 game set hosting Washington next week. It is very possible that this series will decide the winner of the Stout.

Pat Benjamin hasn't been the same since his back injury a couple of years back. A shame because he was one of those RHP unicorns that could consistently perform in Phillips Field.
