    Thanks Brad!

    Seattle goes 4-2 (1-2 vs. DVS, 3-0 @ BAL)

The Pilots are going full 40 with a few BLB debuts for: OF Micah Dozier and RP Jayden Crawl. I had to waive RP Winston Bibb and OF BJ Tanner to fit them, but I think they are likely to be bigger contributors in the event they make the playoff roster. I'm also interested to see how DH Danny Garcia plays in this stint. I signed him in May for $600k and stashed him all year in the minors. He can't field anymore but my scout and OSA think he has tremendous power against lefties. The other "minor leaguer" to see a lot of reps is infielder Dave "Dash" Johnson. He's been part of the Pilots organization since 2019 and is just 27. But it's kind of make or break for him because this is his last option year.

In the minors, the Seattle affiliates won the Triple-A and Double-A Championships over Miami and Wilmington, respectively. However, they got swept in Single-A by New York... #NoRingersAllowed... In the rookie league the Cleveland Bobcats clinched and the playoffs start after this week.

League wide reminder! Now is a good time to re-sign your minor leaguers who need extensions. Every year teams lose good talent for NOTHING!

Click - FRONT OFFICE - UPCOMING FA - Position: ALL PLAYERS - Available Action: Offer all minor league FA extensions : and you are done. For the minor leaguers that DO NOT re-sign and are demanding a BLB contract, if you want to retain them you can move them up to your 40 man (or right to the September expanded roster) and they will get a $280k contract. This saves you a few bucks if you want to keep them, as most of them are asking for a contract in the $500-$800k range but by putting them on your 40, they start at the major league minimum of $280k and be cost controlled for years to come.

You have about seven sims to get this done.

Pawtucket 3-3. Would of really liked to get one of those games at Montreal. Oh well.

CF Lyons and RF Williams will be back next week or 2. If we can just hold on until then we may have an actual shot at the wildcard. Considering how cash strapped we started this season to go along with our suspect, borderline embarrassing bullpen it would be somewhat a surprise.

LF Danny Davis has always been a fringe 100-120 prospect (Currently sitting at #93) My scout always tells me he sucks, OSA thinks he's "eh" yet there he always sat. Right now if things stood as is he might be our second half MVP. After Lyons went down was ready to toss in the towel and said "Why not see what this kid Davis can do?" before I cut him. Well in 23 games all he's done was bat .347, hit 5 homeruns , walked more then he has struck out , OPSd at 1.068 slugged a healthy .631. Simply over the top performance even if he slips back finally.

Learnings: 1) Even if he doesn't look the part, might want to bring that fringe 24/25 year old player up just to see why he's ranked for whatever reason. 2) My scout sucks.

Tough injury to Elijah Reilly for the home stretch- will have to rearrange the depth chart for this game.
