    Thanks Brad!

    Seattle goes 4-3 (3-1 @ Denver, 1-2 vs. Philly)

Did have a day-to-day injury which puts 2B Hideki Nakayama out for a week. The Pilots got a really good start from SP Eliott Paul - 7.2 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 K in a 4-0 win @ Denver. Really need the kid to turn into a legit SP. After pacing all season for the regular season wins record the Pilots are just 11-8 in the month of August.

The minor league playoffs are this week and it looks like it's back to the single elimination format. Be advised.

Oh and the Montreal Exports are the hottest team in baseball.
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013

Pawtucket 3-3. Seems to be our MO past 2-3 months. Hence ........

We sent Goldsmith to a contender this past week. Thoughts are pretty simple. While he might of been able to perhaps carry us to a #6 seed in the wildcard we really could some more salary relief for the future. We were never asking for the stars , just something somewhat fair. A couple of draft picks and the hope SP May can somehow figure his shit out (Kid was once a top 20 prospect) plus still keeps us in the hunt for the playoffs since no one really seems to want to take hold of the flame on the final few spots.

Interesting enough the 2 main suitors were Washington and Baltimore. I think they understood getting a top 5 pitcher even at this advanced age is totally worth it. Even if he slips towards the back of the top 20 next season your really getting a solid Ace for the salary. Again sorry Liquid, that last little pick was enough for us.

Still hovering around .500- disappointing series loss to Phoenix after taking 2/3 from Baltimore.

Took 2 of 3 vs CAR; then took 2 of 3 on the road at Seattle. Best week we've had in a bit. We'll take it.

Pat Moore threw his 2nd CGSO of the season and still has a decision in every one of his GS so far. Weird stat.
