    Thanks Brad!

Seattle escapes Spring Training with no injuries lasting up to this point. A 17-13 record isn't bad, but a lot of teams did better and there were many in the IL right behind us. Should be a very competitive year.

Figuring out a depth chart with the DH is a bit of a new challenge. At this point I'm leaning towards 12 pitchers, 13 hitters. Probably a heavy rotation of guys up and down from Triple-A.

    Highlights from ST:

    1. RP Pat Wood - 9 games, 18.2 IP, 11 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 14 K
    2. 2B Hideki Nakayama - 46 PA, 11 H, 5 R, 3 HR, 9 RBI, 8 K - .306/1.012
    3 C Dwayne Boyles - 47 PA, 18 H, 7 R, HR, 6 RBI, 2 BB, 6 K - .409/1.060
    4. P Joey "Rabbit" Maurer - 17 G, 11 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 4 BB, 13 K - .82/.64

Wood, Nakayama and Maurer were my three FA imports and Boyles was competing with three other catchers for the #1 spot.

    Lowlights from ST:

    1. OF/2B Alistair Whaley - .108/.335
    2. Utility IF Ian Harris - .143/.335
    3. SP Ron Lenzini - 16 IP, 5.40 ERA, 1.80 WHIP
    4. RP I-Po Chai - 12 IP, 6.00 ERA, 1.67 WHIP

Whaley is going to get a lot of reps this year as the #4 OF and spot starter at 2B. He's not out there for his bat but still. Harris, like Whaley, doesn't start but is a defense first player off the bench, who didn't hit at all. Lenzini made his return from a torn labrum and the results don't look good. He's making $40M+ over the next three seasons and might not be much more than a back-end starter. Chai, I'm not too concerned with but he started really slow last year before settling down in the 2nd half.
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013
