Got SP Jon Jones back on the cheap. Nothing crazy this offseason, but the 2 guys we've gotten so far should help us.

At that point where we will be bargain shopping. Our fan interest is still very high right now. Good thing for next season.

It will be interesting to see where these last few FAs end up. I really like this "newer" aspect to BLB. You can play the FA waiting game, and there is a guarantee to be talent left, but you run the risk of it being players you don't really need. Need a RH 2B/3B? Tom Lewis, Jamie Kitchen, Gareth Paton are all good players. Need a LHSP? There's about ten left than can be at least #3/#4s on a contender's rotation. Need a LH catcher? Landon McClelland and Dave Blackmon are great options. Need an offensive CF? Emmett Goins has hit about .280/.780 for three straight years.

Just a reminder, this next sim I believe is the one where the owner can change your scouting/PD budgets. This next sim is also the last chance to change them before they lock.

                Spring Training on Friday!

Another exciting element..... do you tank your PD and or scouting and 'hope" you land that player left at the end of free agency? Or do you commit the allocated money now and not risk money sitting on the sidelines ? Really is the best part of free agency coming up now and generally can put your team over the top (well least from a playoff standpt)

Simple vent, I really think its weird how the game engine evaluated catchers versus the rest of our players in our "top organization" screen. Granted we only have 2 top 100 prospects so were thin at the moment. Overall though I've seen this when we've had a top 5 farm system. It shows 4-5 catchers so many times and unless your drinking the team koolaid 90% are going to turn out to be worthless.

Two of my ORG 20 are catchers.

One, is top 100 and dominated AAA last year.
The other, I drafted in the 2nd round last year.

Not sure what you are saying.

Most turn out to complete turds. Unless they are high draft picks. Least thats what I see. Just a vent. Nothing more when I look at some players in my minors. Lets me have my documented vent.

The team option for SP Jayden Parker should be $1.4M buyout, not $1M, #IndianapolisCheating BradZ
