Seattle brings in SS Hideki Nakayama in from Japan for $24M over three years. I don't think he's anywhere near the level of Nieto, Ulloa, Speedboat, Carrasco, Kimura, etc., but he's an upgrade over what I have at 2B. He actually reminds me a lot of Tom Sotelo, only LH. I probably overpaid but we had room. We also signed P Joey "Rabbit" Maurer from Pittsburgh. The lefty will swing from SP to RP throughout the year.

Pawtucket brings in 1B Fred 'Express' Ratley.

Feels like a nice fit and his price is reasonable. Struggled a bit in NY....but I would expect him to. Should get a boost with us. Beyer will see some platoon with him depending on matchups.

Probably focus a bit on pitchers now. We can't spend over the top so might have to hold for a bit. That and some of these clowns are flat out asking for too much money. Guess if you have the money spend it??
