We retained Ingram but lost Kitchen. With $40M to play with, I expect us to be active on the FA market.

First glance looks a bit underwhelming.

Pawtucket gets a little fiscal responsible and elects not to bring back SP Marco Carrasco. He opted out of his 20ml per next 2 seasons. Felt a bit greedy for a guy who's WAR number had dipped the past few seasons. I think we did the right thing.

So coming into a rare off season with a bit of money to spend. Won't be crazy since we don't have a whole ton of holes and besides unless its a superstar type trying to build a team thru FA rarely seems to work.

How does the Intl free agent class look? Lets face it, these are usually the real game changers in Free Agency.

            Underwhelming at first glance.

Dammit, the owner cash adjustments didn't stick. You will actually have -$15,605,521 coming out of your available funds.

Owner Cash Adjustments that will need to be re-done:

TEAM Adjustment Current Cash New Cash Balance
                  BAL -$742,660 -$1,800,000 -$2,542,660
                  BAT -$1,460,399 -$1,600,000 -$3,060,399
                  CAR -$1,707,458 -$1,800,000 -$3,507,458
                  PAW -$6,758,869 -$16,000,000 -$22,758,869
                  PIT -$6,786,311 -$7,000,000 -$13,786,311
                  SYR -$5,923,720 -$10,000,000 -$15,923,720
                  TOR -$15,605,521 -$10,500,000 -$26,105,521
For you guys, you'll need to take into account the Adjustment column above and combine that with your Available FA $$.

For the first time in his illustrious career, Morla doesn't show up on any awards or top ten lists... At 33 years old, he is existing his prime, but hopefully he has some good years left.

I put an offer to extend SS Freddie Mangan. He clearly didn't sign, but I don't see anything that says he rejected the offer I sent. Did I mess up somehow?
