    Pawtucket 4-2.

Getting some separation in the wildcard pursuit, but getting up to Maine has proven a bit harder. Still 3 games out so were battling to get there with plenty of home game left on our schedule.

So far Zhang has been a bit of catching lightening on the bottle. Wonder if our weird park is giving him a bit of a boost?

Been too focused on your diet.

        Thanks Brad!

Seattle goes 2-4 against Carolina and New York. Those are series we have to win if we want to keep pace with Death Valley.

SP Dave Teel's ERA has now ballooned to 4.14, SS Izzy Rivera got hurt during his rehab stint, C Dave Blackmon is slumping, the revolving door at short stop continues to produce league average results, we are now 17-19 against LHSP despite a full RH lineup and a park that is the most RH friendly in the IL, our defensive efficiency has dropped to 7th in the IL and our last BLB call-up has officially put us over budget for the year.

4-2 week on the road. Happy to get that, but Philadelphia looks really good right now and is right on our tail in the Stout. They're probably the class of the division.

Jamie Nickerson has found life at the plate lately - he hit .381 with a couple of home runs. Dave Webber hit 3 HR's over 2 days in Death Valley. We haven't scored as many runs as I'd like, but we're third in the IL in home runs and second in XBH, so the power is there. Still too many guys having terrible weeks that just drags down my lineup, but hopefully we can find some kind of rhythm as some point.

Outside of Dave Theisen, we're pitching pretty well. He's struggled lately. Ron Osborn came back and had a couple of rough starts but has gotten on track in his past two.

We're shuffling some pieces around here in DC, so check out the block if you want to add one of my excellent players to your team. I'll probably call up a prospect or two in the next sim to see if some new blood can give us a boost.

Chris Lemus hit more home runs and won POTM. He's good.

Stokes is pitching like himself. Gotschall might be our third best pitcher. And Denver is 3 back.
