It showed to be from in-game date 7/17, so it wasn't picked up.

          Thanks Brad!

Made a mistake with my seven day lineup and my manager threw my lefty specialist to start a game against Denver which we lost 9-6. No one's fault but my own.

Seattle went 4-3 in total, losing the Bock lead in the process. We aren't as good as Death Valley.

They are just much better at small ball than the Pilots are...

Batavia trades away half their team and goes 6-1 (with a one-run loss) to line up for the final Wild Card spot. You can't even tank right mwetts !

Disappointing week as we went 3-4, continuing our slide through the month of July. Things just aren't clicking for this team and it's not likely they are going to in order to make us any kind of real contender. We lost 3 more games in the late innings, continuing a trend that has plagued this team. My bullpen was a huge strength last season and early in this one, but we just leak runs in the big innings right now. Rosaro and Bednarcyzk have combined for 15 losses, not exactly what I was hoping for with those two anchoring my bullpen.

It spoiled a decent week at the plate for us. Jamie Nickerson hit 5 HRs, Alexis Moran hit 3 and we scored enough runs to have a good week if the bullpen hadn't spoiled it. A lot of these guys in the lineup are fighting for their jobs, as I have been disappointead by our run production. I was hoping to make a move to a younger, better defensive OF soon. Unfortunately, AAA OF Ian Lisch went down this week. Combined with Bert Garza's current injury and my two best prospect options are currently out, so we're stuck with this group and can only hope that the newfound life at the plate isn't a mirage. I'm pretty bummed about Lisch going down for 6 weeks. I was really looking forward to seeing him (and Garza) giving us a boost. Gonna try out "pitching and defense" to see if it's a real strategy if we can get healthy enough to do it.

Denver goes 4-3 and falls a game back of the Wild Card.

Lemus is keeping Grubel in AAA. 3 bombs.

Matt Healey - as if he heard the conversation in slack - came back and hit 3 triples moving him to a tie with Jimmy Douglas for ninth all-time.. Then he went day-to-day again. Yeesh.

Figueroa, as if competing with a shadow, had 2 triples to share the IL lead with Gil Banda. Figueroa now leads the league in Doubles, Triples and Stolen Bases.

I remember really wanting Nickerson (0.279/.304/0.522) in the 2025 draft and settling for Middaugh (0.360/0.400/0.599) as a consolation prize... Both young hitters are off to a great start... Hopefully it ends up being two great careers that will be worth debating in the future!
