Pawtucket 4-3. Nice to see we played a bit better on the road this week.

Finally also at the .500 mark. Its been weird. Fans are still excited, clubhouse is in good order and we even show signs of maybe being unlucky to start this season (-3 PTY)

Really feels like a solid left fielder can really get our team doing.

                4-3 week for the Pilots.

Windy City came into Seattle and won three out of four. Hats off to Linty for turning around the Blues with pitching and defense (who knew?). They are currently on pace for their best season since 2023 despite being one of the worst batting teams in the league. We salvaged the sim by sweeping the Scorpions in Death Valley. Pilots pitchers allowed just three runs in the three games.

Even with a half game lead in the Bock and the 2nd best record in the IL, I think our best baseball is still ahead of us. A lot of early injuries and a lot of youngsters to call up.

It was a 4-3 week for Washington. We split a 4 game series in Philadelphia before winning 2/3 at New York. A winning week on the road is always fine with me, and we've been pretty good away from home this season.

We continue to be carried by our pitching staff. I expected that to be the strength of the team and it has been. Pat Beseman continues to make me look smart in free agency (please ignore my other signings). Dave Theisen has been Player of the Game in his last 4 starts, so maybe he's going to work out for us too. Marco Rosaro looks to be getting back to his usual self since the injury. In injury news, Ron Osborn is now down to 2-3 weeks away from being healthy. Hopefully that will be a nice addition once I can get him up to speed.

We're going to need to hit better if we plan on being a real contender come playoff time, as I currently have no idea who's going to hit well with any consistency. For now, Tom Roseboom is hot (and still available for trade!). Still too many guys going cold each week, so we'll need to pick it up to keep winning.

We head home next sim to face the hottest team in the league as Baltimore comes to town. Can my pitching slow down this Bulldog freight train? Should be interesting, but I was assured that Baltimore was garbage this season.

Apparently, our demise may have been greatly exaggerated (again).

Won 13 of our last 14, including 8 straight in June.

CJ Stripling won his first IL POW of 2028. I was getting a little worried that the injuries were catching up to the 27 year old but I think he just needs a little more time to get going nowadays. Now, we are just 3 games out of that final playoff spot, but we've got our eyes on that #4 spot.

After a very rough start to the season, Jared Blick has seriously turned his season around posting his 2nd shutout of the season this past week hosting the Tobs. The Pennsylvania native is our team leader and I'm not really not that surprised that he's leading by example and the team is responding in kind.

Hey completely off topic. Zack Rigsbee, after the trade did you get a message saying your clubhouse was unhappy about the recent trade?

                      Just curious.

                        Literally:

"There have been no complaints recently about fights in the locker room, so players are happy. However, some are concerned that Zack Rigsbee's known reputation to cause trouble could cause problems.

Yeah these guys in my clubhouse have been a train wreck. Not so much if our winning, but to start a season off or if things run south to start the year it spirals out of control quick.

I think its a bit unrealistic, but then again we all play with the same rules.
