5-1 sim but had another injury in the outfield. The OOTP gods have a funny sense of humor this season. This is the fifth DL stint for an OF at the BLB level for Seattle, the position with our least depth after letting Manny Nieto walk. Hidekazu Mizoguchi will miss three more weeks with a hammy strain. We are left scrambling yet again to figure out who plays.

However, the 5-1 sim leaves us just a half game back in the Bock and we travel to face Death Valley for three at the end of the week. Oh, and despite the continuous changes to the roster, somehow the Washington Bats are the best team in baseball. #GMofthedecade

New York SP Omar Contreras tore his UCL in the middle of pitching a gem of a 3-2 win over Seattle. You couldn't have done that a few innings early? Come on!

Sheppard did hear his name in the trading block, and inmediately answered with a 2-0 week with just 1 ER from a solo HR shot, collecting 12 Ks and a 3.16 FIP. I think I should put everyone on the block.

4-2 week as we won both series at home against California and Death Valley. We may have the best record in the BLB (by the slimmest of margins, just half a game), but we're certainly not the best team in the league, or the IL, or possibly even the Stout. We'll head to Philadelphia for a 4-game series to start next sim with first place on the line. We could very easily be sitting in second place come next sim.

As for this week, we pitched well. Theisen appears to be settling in as a starter. Carroll looks healthy and Arballo may be developing into a star in front of our eyes. We still have issues at the plate, but Roseboom, Webber and Moran might nice contributions from the outfield this week.

Dave Taylor coming back to Earth has been nice for the rest of us in the IL.

Yes as we are no longer the worst team in baseball.
