Lol. Every starter is WAR positive. Despite that 17-24 and -2 Pyt record. I hope we will start winning soon.

Rookie CF Glassberg had a fantastic first week, if he continues like this we won't need a CF anymore.

I tried to extend his DFA time but it said that had to clear waivers first, then waived him but couldn't extend the DFA time regardless or assign him anywhere... Sorry for the problem.

2-4 week against Baltimore and Batavia. Could have easily been 4-2 but CL I-Po Chai blew two saves, getting the loss in both. Not what I expected when I shelled out all that money.

On the bright side, OFs Jimmy Edge and "Super" Maeda are 100% healthy with CF Pat Cerveny coming back later in the week.

Really good week for the Bats as we swept Phoenix and Denver at home. We'd struggled at home a little bit to start the year, so good to see us win in front of the home crowd. The 6-0 week shoots us back to the top of the power rankings.

We pitched really well this week, with a 1.53 ERA as a team and only 12 runs allowed in total (5 in the last game). Ed Carroll has now made 4 excellent starts after missing the first month of the season. Rosaro returned to his role as my bullpen anchor after a couple weeks out as well, so it's starting to come together for my pitching staff. We've allowed the fewest runs in the league, so that part of the team has been doing well. I hesitate to jinx him, but Pat Beseman continues to be a great FA pickup for us - he's 5-0 with a 1.60 ERA so far.

Offensively, things aren't quite as good. Geoff Yonke continues to hit like he always has, but the rest of the guys need to pick it up. Josh Allen has put together a nice May after I complained about him a couple sims ago, so maybe he's turning a corner into being the star caliber player that my scout claims that he is. The rest of my guys have been pretty disappointing. We'll need to get better production at the plate if we're going to be a contender.

In the minors, we're doing pretty good. Only one minor injury to a notable player this week, so that's an improvement for us. We head out to Seattle and Windy City this next sim, so the good times will probably be short lived.

Pawtucket 3-3. Was hoping to edge out LA this week, but wasn't meant to be. We climbed to 3rd place and somehow have found our way to the last wildcard spot.
