Pawtucket 4-3. Got our first look at the front runner Maine. Very early , but figure we can stay with them.

Parity reigns right in the DL (IL is the same boring teams as usual minus Baltimore) Could really use a left fielder about now, but overall I don't know. Feels like one nice winning streak gets us back in this sucker.

Seattle 5-2: Sweeping vs. WC 3-0 and then splitting a four game series @ DVS. The Pilots are currently 23-15, 1.5 back in the Bock with the second best record in baseball.

We had yet another BLB OF get hurt, not surprisingly old man Jimmy Grey has a high ankle sprain and will miss a month+. He's not a tremendous loss but unfortunately when you have an injury and use the seven day lineup, the manager re-shuffles the lineup. In the two games we lost this week 1-3 and 1-2 @ DVS, my manager decided to start OF Dave Goen in Gray's place and bat him leadoff....despite the fact that he's easily the worst hitter on my 25-man and I've been hitting him 9th. In those two games, he went 0-8 with three strikeouts. Currently we are still without a healthy Pat Cerveny, "Super" Maeda, Jimmy Edge and now Gray. To be performing this well with a makeshift outfield since Opening Day, I'll take it.

SP Dave Teel also got hurt this sim, lucky just day to day for a week. He's currently on a 12 game hit streak!

Happy Birthday to Dave Grubel who turns 18.

I feel there is a roll in this team that has not been started. Time to catch fire, guys.
