The draft utility is up as well (if you're on Slack, you probably already know). The draft will officially start Monday 8/27, usual time. The PHX pick will be auto'ed shortly, putting HAR on the clock thereafter.

Signed Joey Walz to a cheap deal- until Ratley comes off the DL I needed a 1B who can hit lefties. Hopefully he can recapture some of his KC power.

        5-1 week for Seattle: 2-1 @ Denver, 3-0 @ California

Another week another OF injury as Jimmy Edge will miss a week with a bruised collarbone. With Pat Cerveny still on the shelf, we are going to activate CF "Super" Maeda despite being day-to-day still.

On the bright side, SP Ron Robertson was dominant again. Could be a bargain FA signing.

4-2 for the Bats. Lost 2/3 at Baltmore before getting a sweep in Batavia.

We got Ed Carroll back from injury this week and he pitched two really good games- 13.3 combined IP without giving up an earned run. 13 K's against just walks. So, he looked like his normal self. Unfortunately we didn't give him any run support so he had to settle for 2 no-decisions.

At the plate, Josh Allen had a good week after I questioned him in last week's recap, so clearly he's reading. Tom Roseboom also woke up for the first time all season as he fights for his spot on the team.

On the farm, I'll just highlight one great week from JD Stancil at AA Auburn. He went 15/29 at the plate (.517). He hit 6 HRs, had 13 RBI and 15 runs scored. A 1.876 OPS for the week. He's not on my Top 20 Prospect list, but that's one of the best weeks I've ever seen from a player.
