We lost our top lefty reliever, DeAndre Gulley, for the season. Ed Carroll will miss the next month with an injury. I don't remember the last time my team made it out of Spring Training unscathed, but it was a rough month for us. Our depth is going to be tested early this season.

On the field, newest Bat Dave Webber crushed the ball in his debut. Geoff Yonke had a fantastic ST at the plate but I have no idea where he's going to play in the field. Dave Theisen is still the #1 prospect in the league and he has a spot in the rotation going into Opening Day. I still really like my young talent, but my high price guys are becoming tough fits on this team. I'd love to dump some salary, whether that's Roseboom, Schneider or even Yonke. I'd make it worthwhile to take on those guys.

I'm going to miss Webber... Not as much as Mike Morla, but I'm going to miss him!

You've made the playoffs 27 of the last 30 seasons... I'm thinking the care factor fro the rest of the league is... ZERO!

Recorded a pod. It skips again. Don't understand why. But, I'm done.

            Enjoy if you can.

Seattle finishes the Spring 21-9, tied with Baltimore for the best record of the exhibitions. We did have our share of injuries while none too drastic. RP Pat Reeves missed a day with a blister, CF Catchings is day to day for three weeks as he hits the AAA Disabled List, SP Joey Seymour our projected #3 misses four weeks with a hammy and CF Pat Cerveny is day to day for 1-2 weeks with a similar injury.

The biggest "surprise" out of the 40 players who gets reps was infielder Ethan Lorenz. I wasn't expecting him to make the Opening Day roster but with his defensive versatility, switch bat and his impressive spring (.356/.896 in 62 PA) he will contribute backup infield utility.

Open at home against California and Denver.

Ah cut day coming up. Lost 2 of my backup lefty bullpen arms which kind of was a bummer. Hitters all look healthy.

I really could probably use a left fielder that just draws walks and hit homeruns, but I really cannot afford to at one of these bat. Someone from my current roster and AAA just needs to step up.

Had one bad injury which is unfortunate losing Dave Davis for a month- I idiotically only adjusted my DH lineups and forgot that the pitchers hit in ST so left the other lineups alone. Whoops
