Next SIM will be possible once all involved teams are exported. We may try a new style of live SIMs this playoffs, if anyone's interested.

No one wanted the Ale this season. Pawtucket literally rode one really good month and watched everyone fumble and trip in Sept. Unreal.

We were good in September. August was our fuckup.

We basically rode August to our division,

Continue with the same tune, no Pawtucket playoff has ever win less 90 games EVER.

Trust me Z when I say this, this is no proud moment in the lore of a Patriots history. I'm actually laughing, Thought 90-92 wins when we came to September ?

3-3 to finish up in some meaningless games for the Bats. A final record of 104-58 is obviously really good and leaves us with a #2 seed. We ended up 3rd in the IL in runs scored, 2nd in runs allowed. For the regular season, I've got no complaints with how this team performed, especially given the losses we took in the starting rotation to injury.

-Geoff Yonke finished the year hot, hitting .500 for the week. I didn't think he was scheduled to play in 5 games, but he did anyway and had a big week. He led the IL in OBP and BB this season, still hitting at an elite level.

-Hiroya Murata had his best week since being called up as he was given the start in every game. Given his defensive ability, if he hits at all he could be a valuable player for us going forward.

Looking ahead, we'll play the winner of Seattle - Philadelphia. It looks like a mismatch on paper, but the playoffs can be weird. If it ends up being the Pilots, then that's a really tough matchup for us against the defending champs. We've had success against them this year, but they are probably more talented than we are. Philly always gives us tough games, so I'd expect nothing different from them either.

Mike Morla... Wow! I wasn't around for the earliest years of the league, but I can't imagine there has ever been a better pure hitter in the BLB!!

He capped off what may have been his finest season ever, which is really saying something in a career that has seen him finish no lower than 5th in WAR the last 9 seasons...

He fell three hits shy of the single season hits record with 248, even though he had 45 less at bats than Joe Lopez, when he 251. He also became only the second BLB player in history to record a single season batting average of 0.390!!

                    He lead the league in...
Batting Average 0.390 (0.021 over the closest competitor)
On Base Percentage 0.431 (0.015 over the closest competitor)
Slugging Percentage 0.608 (0.036 over the closest competitor)
On Base Plus Slugging 1.040 (0.083 over the closest competitor)
WAR 9.1 (0.4 over the closest competitor)
Runs Created 10.61 (1.15 over the closest competitor)
Hits 248 (over the closest competitor))
Total Bases 387 (33 over the closest competitor)

And finished in the top 5 in runs, singles, doubles, and intentional walks!

This also marks the fifth time in the last six years, he has batted over 0.350!! and the third time he has batted over 0.370!!

Oh yeah... Dave Webber tied the Kodiak Home Run record with 46! He's hit 81 Home Runs in his two seasons in California!

We had some "enhanced" players who were a bit better, but Morla is gonna be a sure fire hall of famer.

One note also though.....some of our stadiums are really geared way to much for offense now. Was alot more balanced back in the day lol or unbalanced against certain hitters. We had some parks where it was like having a permanent "shift" on righties verus lefites.

                        Export in.

Seattle went 1-5 the final week while playing the backups however on the bright side is now completely healthy. I really thought we would catch Death Valley in the 2nd half of the season but the Scorpions kept the pace all year ending our Bock streak at three.

We host Philadelphia in the "anything can happen" Wild Card Round. In 12 games, the Pilots went 7-5 agains the Freedom. The Pilots are healthy and had 25 more regular season wins while the Freedom are without arguably their two best players. The matchup appears lopsided but I think it will go three games and wouldn't be surprised if upset. The Freedom can run, make contact, plays defense and plays in a pitchers park. Plus, Colin Niebauer and CJ McVicker have got to be pissed after all their hard work to be traded away in the Brewmaster's season from Seattle to Philly for Tom Lewis. #RevengeFactor
