Pawtucket 5-1. Second half of this season we've been a much different ball club.

        Thanks Brad!

5-2 week but still lose a game in the Bock. Death Valley is rolling with no end in sight.

Excited to get to September. Maybe we can make it interesting down the stretch.

Yes. He seems to have stabilized the staff. Can't fight who we are this season. Pitching. Looking at my park yesterday, its actually more a pitcher friendly park compared to some of the stadiums these days in the BLB.

Aguilar has given up 17 runs over his last two starts. Not good.

I could never figure that guy out for the season we had him. On the other hand SP Jon Jones who seemed alot alike reigned? Those back end starters are really a crap shoot these days.

Good week for the Bats. We hit well - .314/.375/.518 (.893) OPS as a team with 45 runs scored. We pitched well - 2.32 team ERA, 18 runs allowed. We went on the road and went 6-1. It didn't gain us any ground in the Stout, but it looks like a two horse race for the division crown.

Stars for the week at the plate - Geoff Yonke hit .545, Alec Aymond stayed hot, hitting .412. Alexis Moran is listed as a hot hitter at the moment, he hit .409 with a couple homers this week. Good production throughout most of the lineup.

On the mound, Dave Payette continued his solid year, throwing his third shutout of the season. He's been a breakout player for us, after taking a long time to develop even after I scooped him up as a FA a couple of offseasons ago.

Bad news: We lost another SP to a lengthy injury. Toshihiro Nakamura has been been 6th starter for the past month, pitching pretty well despite a subpar ERA. He's out for the next month now. Reliever Garret Martin's day to day injury now has an unknown timetable for him to return. He's been a really good lefty for me. We've managed to survive losing Calligan and Raymond this season, but our depth is just going to have to carry us a little bit more.

We haven't had an 0-6 sim this year, so we picked a lousy time to have one. After being in first place for almost half the season, it's looking more & more likely that we won't make the playoffs. We don't have any games left against Pawtucket, so we'll have to hope some other teams can win some against them.

Got wrecked by Washington but took 2 out of the first 3 games against Philly. Parham had a solid debut for us- hopefully he can keep it going.
