But he blew out his elbow in the third inning of his first start.

He turns 45 in December.

4-2 week for the Bats. Combined with a little help from Baltimore and we're now just a half game back in the Stout (and tied in the loss column).

This week we won 2/3 in Windy City before coming home to do the same against Davenport. Still 3 guys carrying the lineup - Yonke, Taylor and Blakmon. Yonke and Taylor now sit 1-2 in WAR in the IL. On the mound, we got 2 rough starts from Chad Raymond but good performances from everyone else.

Bad news for the week: RF Tom Roseboom is day-to-day for the next 2-3 weeks. He gets hurt every year at this point. I could let him play through it, but given his history it might make more sense to sit him down on the DL until it clears up. I'll have to find someone to take his place for the next couple of sims.
