Delgado didn't do that bad. He has been in your lineup for two weeks and a lot of people would argue you made out real well in that trade.

Yes, but he also hit 6 doubles and a HR in 13 games. Thats over an XBH per game. Plus, he didn't have a single error at 2B. In that league, in that stadium, in that lineup, I definitely expect him to hit closer to his career average of .256 than I do to expect him to hit .230.

        I would be pleased.

            The Bad

2-5...back to life, back to reality.

Cam Mills is starting to look like a bust. I fear I brought him up to soon last season, and combined with the Hex Dance that Linty performed means I'm screwed.

            The Good

            Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Another 5-2 week for the Tobs to bring our record to 18-8. We've been remarkably consistent so far, every week we've been either 4-2 or 5-2.

                The Good
-Ezequiel Parongao picked up career wins 100 and 101 and was named the IL Pitcher of the Month for April. He's off to the best start of his career, with a WHIP of 0.67 and a 49:4 K:BB ratio.
-We beat the Playboys both games this week, and are now 4-1 this season against them. That's always good.
-While we didn't have any huge weeks from any individual hitters, our lineup continues to be very balanced.
-Our top prospect, SP Shawn Gates is dominating AA this season so far in his 6 starts. He's 2-1, 0.65 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, 33:13 K:BB. But we're going to be patient with him.

                The Bad
-We lost our first series of the season, losing 2/3 to Wilmington.
-Our bullpen is 8th in the IL in ERA. I knew we weren't deep in the Pen, but I didn't think they'd be quite this bad. Might need to make a move here.

                The Ugly
-Rayford Winchel has been simply awful this season. 0-3, 9.26 ERA. His skills have fallen off, and it looks like his run might be over. Still, for a Rule V pick, he's been great for me.

Parongao is a STUD! He was supposed to carry the DR in the WBC.

Yes, he's been one of the best pitchers in the league for the past few seasons. Unfortunately his contract runs out at the end of the season, so my days of having an ace on the cheap appear to be over. Somehow I doubt he'll go for another 5 year, $14.9 mil contract.

You had better trade him to Washington.

Oh, I have the money to keep him. He's just asking for more per season than he got for the last 5 years combined. Still, with Clint Lance's contract coming off the books we're in good shape there.

Lance actually messaged me requesting an extension this sim. Ha.

That reminds me, I need to come up with a way to get $5 million added to my money for extensions. Buzzell is asking for $21 million a year and I'm only able to offer $16.1

I'll gladly take Mills back if you don't want him.
