Thanks Brad! Happy to get TJ Broughton back to California on a fairly reasonable deal... Hopefully he can take the load off of Nackers, Horton, as the young guys as they develop.

Good signing, Brad. I was trying to bring Tom Klotz to Batavia.

We got SS Antonetti, might have paid a little bit much but with Tuggy Speedboat out of the universe and no other middle IF's really availiable we felt we would take a shot.

We also have no SS coming up in the system anytime soon and this allows Donnelly to move back to his natural position of 2B and significantly improves our IF defense.

was totally my bonehead mistake. Forgot to extend my minor league contracts. I usually do it but this time i totally forgot.

Speaking of Top Prospects, a lot of our best players took nice ratings bumps this sim!! It was really nice to finally see Riley Thomas fly up the board... We had high hopes for him, and he's been slow going in the minors up until last year!

Ron Snider is now an 80 power... Yikes! In that silly little diamond, he could hit 60 home runs!!

That was a great move. He was built for Kennywood Park

Picked up Macaluso off the scrap heap and he immediately puts together a charity softball game.

                            I already like this signing.

I figured you'd like that. I was happy to bring him back home when I saw him on the list of personnel. I don't know exactly what the bench coach does in this game, but he looks ok and obviously he's a legend here. I had to replace Thad "Golden" Souders who had been in the role forever. Since I fired manager Gene Legere just before the playoffs, it's a new duo on the bench for me this coming year.

Free agency went well this sim. Brought in Rosaro to close games and be the bullpen anchor, Elliott to provide some middle relief and Tom Pryor to be a #4/5 starter. We had several guys depart from the pitching staff, so we definitely needed the help. Didn't really break the bank to do it, so I've still got a little money to pursue other needs.

It was also a big update for my minor league system. We vaulted to #1 on the System rankings and Dave Theisen jumped to #1 overall prospect (at least, on the html he is). It'll jump around some more, but I've said that I'm optimistic about the youngsters I've got in my minors.
