Geoff Yonke held off a huge charge from Ian James to win his first batting title. He’d previously had four runner up finishes, so it’s great to see him finally get one. One more thing checked off th list of his career accomplishments. It’s been a career year the plate for Yonke. His fielding might be dropping off, but the bat just gets better.
