DVS smacked us around a little bit. But we are 1 game back now.

Bock lead down to seven. We have six remaining games against Death Valley. 5-2 week against DAV/PHX/WC. Seven games next week. All on the road. This could get interesting.

I was just informed that CF Pat Cerveny day to day injury is undertermined length.

Looks like Kangaroo Court got us back in working order. 5-2 and with the two losses, both walk off home run losses in the 9th or later.

Good News: We got Ruben Jimenez back.
Bad News: We lost Tom Roseboom for the rest of the year. So, let the lineup juggling continue as my outfield still looks like a mess.

I have no idea how this team is going to finish the season. We could still win the division or miss the playoffs entirely, and neither would surprise me. A 4-3 week feels like it's fine, so hopefully I'll get a couple more of those and make it in.

You've got 13/18 at home and Philly has 13/18 on the road. You are in the driver's seat.

Pawtucket up 5.5 games ,but more importantly 7 up in the loss column. Lol, not sure how or why that matters.

Also despite a 6-6 month so far best record in DL???

As lucky as we were last year we have been the opposite this year. 4 major injuries in June/July started the slide (SP May, SP Shaw, RP Hatch and 1B Frederick). Also 14 losses by your closer who only pitches 9th or later doesn't bode well. Not bringing some big names back, letting next years youngsters who will be battling for spots get some AB's

I know he has a negative WAR, a high WHIP and his FIP isn't pretty, but I don't care. Jalen Duell is that dude. He comes in and just throws innings and somehow does enough to keep us in the game.

Whether we need one inning or three innings out of him, he's game. 83 appearances. 131 innings out of the pen. Maybe a better reliever does more, but Duell seems to succeed in this use and abuse role.

Gotta love dudes who defy saber metrics.

3rd straight winning SIM which makes us happy, but too little to late.

The history of LF Jimmy Collins, who was a discarded by Toronto and came to Miami (Dallas) to win 2 rings and 4 DWI awards is coming to an end, the injuries are taken their tall and he is finishing contract at the end of the season, it was a hell of ride with patrolling the LF and occasionally the CF of our defense while accumulating 32.5 WAR. If he remains unsigned during the next off-season and he wants to play in a minor league contract, we will let him finish his career in Dallas somewhere in our system.
