        THANKS BRAD!

Seattle wins both series this week, 2-1 vs. CAR, 3-1 vs. NYK. However the biggest news came off the field with the Pilots coming to terms on an extension for SP Dave Teel. Two years at $33.5M, second year being a player option. I rarely give player options but this deal kinda came out of nowhere. Ever since I signed him, Teel had been asking for 8-years at $33M. Two sims ago he lowered his demands to 5-years at $33M. Last sim I tried to get him down to 4-years, team option, and he countered with this deal, two years, $33.5M, player option.

The Pilots send seven players to the All-Star game, which happens to be in Seattle this year. The biggest surprise is RP Colin Daugherty. A free-agent signing this off-season, spent all of 2025 in Triple-A and in 2024 had a -0.7 WAR in Los Angeles. This year the 30-year-old has a 1.36 ERA and .78 WHIP in just under 40 innings.

Never mind. Demolished by Pawtucky in a 3 game sweep. Hopefully it wasn't real...

Sorry for the delay. HTML is finally in the process of updating. The game was giving me issues while generating the HTML files this morning.

Holy shit. Looks like our pitching depth was destroyed in one week.

Well looks like I got the one international FA that I was aiming for- didn't come cheap but looks like he's going to be a solid player. He debuts as a Top 50 prospect which is reassuring.

OK sim, took 2/3 from Davenport but lost 3/4 to Seattle including one bullpen meltdown. Seattle will not be easy to beat this year.

                    “Sharks Whitewashed by Orbon
                    Sunday, July 12th, 2026
Dusty Orbon of the Montreal Exports really did a job on the Sharks today at Miami Sea Life Aquarium, shutting them out 5-0. Orbon frustrated Miamihitters throughout the game, surrendering 5 hits. He struck out 8 and walked 0 in picking up the victory.

Thus far this season, Orbon has tossed 122.2 innings in 18 starts, fanned 101 batters, walked 24 and put up a 3.08 ERA with 7 wins and 4 losses”

So we cut bait on Danny Garcia, who stunk for us, and of course he literally wins Player of the Week immediately after the trade.

Just absolutely cursed this year. Snake bitten. Ugh.

I like the pitcher from Monaco I got.

                        Oh, its real for sure.

Pitt and Wilmington back to back extra inning marathon think combines 33 innings in 2 games!!! Basically I'm just happy no one got hurt and really happy with switched to a 6 man rotation this week. Pawtucket 5-2, as we continue to switch places with Pitt.

Intl free agency: I never bid on a single player. Wanted to sit this one out and see how these players develop before deciding on the future path. Like Shark , I've been in a league with Intl players and got burnt spending big money. Plus I wanted my money back.

5-1 week for the Bats gives us two good sims in a row. Swept Windy City and won 2/3 from Denver, playing all of our games at home this week. The pitching staff carried us, as we only allowed 11 runs total.

It took a while, but Dave Blackmon is finally hitting well and Yonke may have snapped out of his slump.

It looks like the strategy around the league was to bid $5M+ for the top International free agents. Unfortunately I didn't follow that path, so none of them are coming to Washington.

Very happy seeing Salazar reaching his 2nd All-Star game, the former #4 Overall pick in the mythical Draft of 2014 got his 2nd call after years of being Overlooked.

When do we have to trim down the A Rosters to 30?
