I must have the worst base running team in the BLB! What looked like a sweep against Indianapolis turned into a win, a loss, and a blowout... We had four guys thrown out at home, one guy at third to end an inning, two guys caught stealing second to kill rallies, yet, we continue to have numerous 'fast' players not take extra bases on balls in the gap or go first to third when the situation does call for it... Very frustrating!!

Have you mess up with strategies? I have an unreal performance of my fast players so far

          Seattle: 2-1 @ Davenport, 2-1 @ New York

Hate to nitpick about a game we all love so much but the extra innings decisions by the AI are often very questionable when it goes deep. Not an ideal situation but I don't understand why the game thinks it's a good idea when all RPs have been used up, to bring in the SP slotted to START the very next game. My manager made this decision in Game 6 of the ILCS and my new manager made the same decision in a 13 inning game against New York this week. I would much rather he brings in any of the other SPs in the rotation. Oh well.

The Pilots have the best record in baseball but we are a much different team at home (30-8) than we are on the road (25-18). The revolving door at 1B continues after Dave Puckett had three errors in one game.

New York is a good team. I thought after the Lyon injury they would fall off but I think this team will keep pace down the stretch for the Stout. Death Valley is red hot and now our insurmountable Bock lead is down to 10.5 games.

REMINDER: International Amateur Free-Agency is here! Also I think we have 1-2 more sims to cut down to 30 at Single-A.

          Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

The game thinks it's a good idea because the starter pitcher slated to pitch the next game is almost certainly the most rested guy you have left.

Not saying it's the best choice but that surely must be the logic.

My thoughts exactly... Not that I completely agree, bot for the AI, it makes the most sense.

And it makes more sense if not for the sim schedule we use. Normally you'd have the next day to set a new starting pitcher and even make a roster move if you need to get someone new in.

Good week for the Bats as we swept Batavia and then took 3/4 in Phoenix. That pushes us into the top Wildcard spot and only a game behind Baltimore in the Stout. It also finishes up our first half of the season at 47-34. Nothing to complain about with the team this week.

Jimmy Harris had a nice first half at the plate, including a 3 HR game. I've been waiting for quite a while for him to show the potential my scout thinks he has, but maybe he's finally becoming a decent BLB player.

Chad Raymond is a rollercoaster as a SP. Brilliant one game, awful the next. I think I'd like to move him to the pen where he's consistently really good, but he's still out best option in the rotation right now. Maybe if Calligan comes back on schedule I can make a switch.

The newest Bat, Ron Hammond, was immediately placed in the lineup and hit a home run. With him now on the team, I'd consider moving Omar Baber. He's been good for me the past two years and is on a cheap deal, but he can't get on track this season.
                  Washington Bats, 2013-

Not a great sim for us- will be interesting to see how these Intl FA play out though. Need to get a lot more consistency from this team.
