    Stat of the Day!

    DFA: MON
    Roster:

Note: A paperwork snafu on some contract details for the Marco Rosaro extension led to an Arbitration hearing. Rosaro has fired his agent and has hired super agent Scooter Burress to represent him in all matters going forward. Rosaro has been granted a nullification of his contract extension as a result of the arbitration hearing. Burress has announced his client plans to hit Free Agency at the end of the season.

Still competing hard, but our old free agents signings that were so hot the first month, are now... just old!! Their ratings are still solid, but I'm guessing the idea of playing on a lousy team is not sitting well with the old timers.

My favorite sim of the year...reorganizing my minor leagues with the drafted players is always fun.

OK sim for us, our division is ruthless.

          Seattle Notes:
-3-0 vs. Davenport, 1-2 vs. Death Valley. The Pilots hold a 13 game lead in the division and have a consistent winning percentage through the first three months.
-For those that didn't see, CL Marco Rosaro will be a FA.
-We had another major injury to a Single-A top pitching prospect. Not sure what's going on there.
-Cut down to 42/45 at Single-A. Hoping for a little more clarity on the July 1st re-scout.

          Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

4-2 for the Bulldogs this week. If we had not dropped two in NY late we'd have gone undefeated for the week. Teams have tried to stack the deck with LHP, but the additions of 1B Robby O'Neal and the maturation of infielder, 2B Pat Rene, are making us very tough to pitch against in every outing.

21 year old, 1B Bruno Damours has been relatively quiet this year but he did have a big week going 9/15 with 1 double, 1 triple, and two home runs. I've been waiting for Bruno to take that next step to be a premier first baseman and hopefully this is the spark that shows that he's ready.

SP Jimmy West is looking like a great signing for us. Now with an 8-5 record and a 2.74 ERA, he threw his second career shutout this week against a very good NY offense. On the other end of the spectrum, 25 year old, SP Ron Chamberlain has lost another season to injury. In 6 starts, the kid posted a 1.52 ERA and 0.80 WHIP. After a string of minor injuries, he'll now spend 8 months on the mend for a torn rotator cuff. If he does make it back, I doubt he'll make it as starter.

We head back home this week hosting NY and Windy City.

Poor week for Pawtucket and Pitt slips back into the lead. Not sure what happened at home, but Indy is a good team. Felt like a payback series to me,
