2026 Regular Season SIM 10 Complete - Next SIM THU 4/12

Solid sim for us taking 3/4 from Batavia and 2/3 from Carolina. The pitching continues to be steady and we are making some adjustments in our lineup as some of our starters recover from some nagging injuries. Fred Ratley will be back in the lineup after this sim hopefully. I'm going to call up our top prospect Josh Wright to get a bit more lefty pop in the lineup. Our AAA team is a bit of a dumpster fire right now and I think he will develop nicely with the big league time.

This division is crazy competitive right now. I think the team is a little bit ahead of schedule right now and will hopefully be even better in coming years.

Aires Injured in Grounds Crew Accident Wednesday, June 10th, 2026 Ron Aires suffered an unexpected injury yesterday morning during player warm-ups. As the players talked and stretched, the Seattle Pilots grounds crew practiced their 7th Inning Stretch "Rake and Dance" performance set to Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up." "I saw Ron stretching his quads," said manager, Jamie Nourse. "Next thing I knew, he was laid out near the batting circle with a rake upside the head." Part of the dance included a section where the groundskeepers swung their rakes around their heads as if the tools were a Jitterbugging partner. "One crew member", said Seattle Pilots team owner, Keung Shui, "lost his grip." Team officials insist the incident was an accident, despite recent reports that numerous players had approached management to criticize the quality of the field and its day-to-day upkeep. "Accident or not," said Jamie Nourse. "From now on, I'll wait until they're done dancing before I have the guys start their warm-ups." Ron Aires will likely be out of the lineup for at least the next 10 days with a concussion.
