If I wasn't so worried about the stupid relationship aspect of this game I'd fire Edmands... He may well be the stupidest handler of a pitching staff OOTP has ever seen! Pulido is 43 years old and has pitched seven solid innings against inning... You'd think pull him... Nope... Hit by pitch... You'd think pull him... Nope... HBP... You'd think pull him... Nope... Single... You'd think pull him... Nope... Grand Slam Home Run... Now, we pull Pulido... Genius!!!! For a game that is so realistic, it's incredible how many moronic (guys getting thrown at third with two out, 8 straight pickoffs to first, etc.) plays that happen during the simulations of any particular game!

You're doing well, Paul. Keep it up. I just need Windy City to resemble a baseball team.

You're welcome. I'm looking forward to next sim... Since we are shit, and I have no pick... We are debuting a four man rotation... I've wanted to try it for awhile now, but this year seems like as good a time as any... Since we have few decent pitchers and nothing to play for... Win or lose!

Manager Cisneros Terminated by Orlando Blackbirds
          Wednesday, June 10th, 2026
A team source leaked the news to the press early this morning and it was confirmed in an afternoon press release: Orlando manager Dani Cisneros has been fired.

Several analysts in the sports media have commented on the Blackbirds lackadaisical play of late and it is widely expected that the team will hire a take-charge firebrand as Cisneros's replacement.

Love this story because that’s exactly what I did and why I did it.

Pawtucket first losing sim in a long time going 3-4. Played Toronto well, but then stumbled at the end of the week losing the last 3 to Wilmington. Looks like the stadium is a bit different then I'm use to. Have to alter my lineup a bit next time. Pitching was fine, just didn't hit. Also leads to a growing issue.. Dave Miller. Ok, its been 5 weeks now with blurred vision and even tried resting him. Didn't work. Maybe it just time to put him the IR and see if that helps?? No idea how to approach this.

Sumski has been a beast since coming up. I offered him in alot trade proposals in the past and always felt I was getting shorted on the deal. Lucky me I guess?

Lost John Fallon for the season, but after rehab Honea can fill that spot, if he stays healthy. We've got a few AAAA arms in the minors that may be serviceable as well.

This version sure likes catchers and centre fielders...

5 catches and 4 centre fielders in the top 20 players list!
6 catchers and 11 centre fielders in the top 100 prospects list as well!

Giddy up... as California has 6 catchers and 3 centre fielders in its top 20 prospects!

Joshua House has turned into Beast Mode since signing with us. He's definitely a clubhouse cancer and he's been lucky but he's off to a ridiculous start.

5-2 going 3-1 at Carolina and 2-1 at Washington makes for a very good week on the road for the Bulldogs. We've won our 5th straight series and the team looks good which is awesome considering Stripling is still out for 3 more weeks.

I'm really impressed with how the guys are growing as a team. While we don't have a particularly overpowering offense, we can win in a number of different ways offensively, and that is refreshing to see. 24 year old second baseman, Pat Rene has been particularly impressive of late, going 5 for 14 with 3 RBI and just 2 strikeouts last week. The NY native has been making case for himself to unseat GM favorite, Bobby Preston from starting duties vs. LHP. Both are extremely hard working guys and great defenders at second base and while Rene can't compete with Preston's power at the plate vs. RHP, Rene has shown the ability to play well outside of Phillips Field .

On the mound, our pitching has been very good for the most part over the last couple of weeks, spearheaded by the surprise performance of starting rotation returnee, SP Ron Chamberlain. As I've mentioned before, Chamberlain blew out arm last year and was out for over a year recuperating. With the injury to Parham, Chamberlain was called up and has made the most of his opportunity racking up 12 K and giving up just 1 ER in his first 15 innings back.

RP Ron Kleinman has also settled in back as a reliable reliever for us. While extremely talented, Ron is well known as one of the more lackadaisical in the league, Luckily for us, the 30 year old Texan seems to play well as a member of our squad and is currently on a hot streak, giving up just 2 ER in his last 12 relief appearances.

We are now just 1/2 game behind the first place NY Knights and tied with Batavia for 2nd place in the Stout. We finish our road trip on the first day of the next sim in Washington followed by 6 more at home hosting Carolina and Washington, to end a string of 17 straight games.

The Red Jackets will be posting this on the bulletin board in the club house as it seems the Bulldogs don't respect us enough to even know we are playing this week...

Looking for motivation anywhere at this point...
