    Thanks, Brad.

Worst year I can remember having. Really thought we'd compete for the division title and instead we're competing for the top pick.

    I don't understand.

I'm still waiting for someone to tell my club the season began two months ago.

5-1 week with the one loss in extras. Seattle is playing really good ball right now and this team has a chance to do something really special if they can stay healthy.

Biggest surprise so far this season is the play from veteran SP Dave Toste. The 37-year-old was a waiver claim on August 25th coming from California. He's currently on pace for a career year sitting at 7-2, 2.45 ERA, 1.09 WHIP. In six of his 12 starts, he has taken home player of the game.

SP Dave Teel is now hitting .371/1.036! Versus right handers: .400/1.150! Not a large sample size but wow.

I thought we agreed he was going back to FA after this season?

Pawtucket 5-1. Pitt still hot on our ass like whenever we push for Ale division. Keeps us motivated I suppose. No way in hell this offense continues hitting .298.

Rookie starter Sumski really pitching well as our fill in for Baldwin. See if this continues as he pitches twice in hitter friendly parks this week.

Farm note: #3 farm system in baseball. SP Sumski, SP Roundtree, SS FInlay & 3B JR Walling (OF Reed a nice 4th outfielder) are gonna make an impressive core in our not so distant future. Weird though, Lynn isn't any good after winning the Horizon Cup last season ?

Hitting a groove in Pitt, but like funclown says, we can’t quite catch Pawtucket yet. Murray has really settled after an awful start.

Not a great sim for us. Kauffman makes his return to the bigs next sim. I need Josh Wright to get healthy- we are starting to miss Tom Lyon.

                          4-2 in a week that probably should’ve been 5-1.

We lost Stripling to a broken thumb injury as he makes an amazing double play after a diving catch and throwing out an overly ambitious runner at first, from left field. He’ll be out for a month, which will be good in the fact that it gives him time to heal up a sprained ankle he’d been nursing for a couple weeks now.

Despite his injury, the team really didn’t miss a beat as rookie outfielder, Tom Fiano, played well in Stripling’s place posting a 1.261 OPS for the week. The 24 year old Texan has shown a lot of promise in a reserve role and he'll get a full month to show what he can do with both Stripling and Pat's favorite overachiever, OF Micah McKay, both on the mend.

It also seems like C Storm Johnson has finally started his season. After a subpar start in April and May, the young star catcher has hit .409 with a 1.162 OPS to begin June. We'll need him to keep this up while CJ is out.

With the series hosting Washington, we've started a arduous 17 game streak. Next week spend 4 games in Carolina, followed by three more in Washington. I think our performance in June could really make or break our chance for a chance at the Stout title.
