Is there a secret to preventing your manager from using a DtD injured player? In the case of Lofink I took him out of the rotation and made him my emergency SP and my manager still pitched him twice in relief and he got hurt again and will miss 5 weeks. I didn't want to put him on the DL for a 5 day injury but will plan on taking a more cautious approach going forward.

Can "Sit" your player for X amount of days, Might of been the better option?

I should have probably put Tom Lyon on the DL with his DTD injury that started in ST but he was hitting too well. I've learned my lesson now- will probably DL guys with DTD injuries. Samuel Norris had a DTD injury and I put him on the DL thereafter.

I just want to see is LF/DH Dave Miller with blurred vision ends up going blind. Sorry, I need to see this thru.

Can "Sit" your player for X amount of days, Might of been the better option?

Yes, didn't realize that was an option. It also looks like there's an option to bench them based on the DtD injury severity.

i believe there is a global setting that allows you to dictate what your manager does with DtDs.

Yeah many of times I used the "sit" portion in the last version. For us its mainly the whole your a lefty playing at Pawtucket and your gonna suck, but if I had a player with "3 days out or something or DtD >25% loss" I would just sit him x amount of days.

That’s what I do. I’m bendhing three relievers this week for three days just so the manager doesn’t play them. Hopefully it works!
