Tom Lyon out for the season with a torn ACL. Love his game but he can’t stay healthy. He wasn’t 100% since a quad injury in spring training- his day to day injury never healed. I have a solid AAA prospect in Tommy Blum that I will call up to play CF. Solid sim nonetheless. Joshua House is dealing since signing with us and is now 3-0 on the season after missing spring training.

Not a great week in Seattle. 0-2 vs. PHI, 0-2 vs. NY, but redeemed the week by going 3-0 vs. Carolina including: http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...e_box_403.html - Three hitters are cold and our defense now ranks 8th in the IL. Next up is a nine game road stretch against Batavia, New York and Washington. Hopefully we can at least be respectable.

A LOT of injuries this week throughout the BLB the biggest being New York CF Tom "Tug" Lyon. One of the leagues best young players and a large part of New York's early success will miss the rest of the year with a torn ACL. Entering the 2022 draft, I had the #1 pick and actually had considered Lyon for the selection. He was "fragile" entering the draft after having three major injuries and a setback. He fell to 15th in the draft and it looked like Pawtucket had a steal. Unfortunate that injuries might limit him going forward.

In the minors Seattle is 20-6 at Triple-A, 12-14 at Double-A and 18-8 at Single-A. We had a major injury to CL Tom "Crime Dog" McGuffin (A) who will miss nine months with a torn labrum. In positive news, we are calling up OF Hidekazu Mizoguchi to play RF vs. LHSP. The 22-year-old is hitting .412/1.177 in Triple-A this year after mashing .373/1.106 in Double-A last year.

        Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
        Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
        Washington Bats - 1979-2013

Pawtucket 5-2. We were actually riding a 12 game winning streak , but finally ended with KC as we lost 2 of 3. At that moment we were 12-1 at home so we were due for a bit of letdown.

Starters seem to be rolling. Appears a shift in this version with certain type of pitchers. Use to be alot of power pitchers. Now not so much.

Overall were still rolling right now and coupled with a fairly rebuilt farm system we can possibly swing some deals later in the year if needed. More importantly the FANS are back.

Another solid week in California. A combined 3-2 on the road at Syracuse and Toronto. The offence struggled this week... Perhaps it's just water finding its level, but the pitching is sort of holding up. We'll see where this team is after May, but I'm hoping it will hold up... If only to screw Sully in the draft next year, as he has our first round pick!!
