Pawtucket 4-3 and we survived Douglass being out going 12-7!!

We still have some issues to solve on the road, but we certainly seemed to have solved "the lefty riddle" from last season. Adding Dave Miller & Erik Jackson perhaps did the trick? Never know with this game.

In other news the Ale appears to suck for the 2nd year in a row. Already can tell its probably only going to be the top 2 from our division this season so its going to be important to finish 2nd place or better again for all of us.

          How the mighty have fallen.

I'd like to point out that yes, we are trying... and yes, we do suck that bad.

Nice sim for us getting back to first place. The offense is really clicking right now- making this a fair ballpark from the pitcher friendly dimensions of the past has really helped quite a bit. The offense is really well balanced this year. It helps having a 1B who is at least somewhat reliable. I probably could use another front end starter but Kauffman will be coming back in the next few weeks.

Ugh, I'm really starting to grow frustrated with my team and inability to build a good one.
2-5 week and my bullpen allowed a run in every single game of this sim after the 8th inning. 13 runs in total over those 7 games.
How can we win if our bullpen is a giant dumpster fire!?!?
I have Corey who's a 60/60/65 who pitches fine for a game or two, then completely implodes on the 3rd and 4th outings.

                    So frustrating.

                      Pitching.....?

I love Corey, you know this. Still that velocity and being a closer???

In the defense of Windy City, you have played us very tough. Four of our games have been one-run that easily could have gone either way.

The Blues will be quite a project to turn around. Fortunately, after 2026, you have no bad contracts, little to no payroll and likely a top five pick.

5-2 week for the Bats in our best sim of the season so far. After an 0-5 start, we're back to .500 at 9-9, so I'll take it. It's been a great start to the year for my bullpen, while the rest of the team has been a bit up and down. One bright spot has been rookie SS Dave Taylor. I wasn't 100% sure he was ready for a full-time role, but so far he's hitting .400/.468/.673 (OPS 1.140) and providing solid defense at short.

On the farm, I'm most excited about the talent at my A-level team, and they've come flying out of the gate with a 12-1 start. I really like what I'm seeing out of some of the young kids.

                              Is Mason Goss good?

                              http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...ayer_8117.html

My immediate reaction on seeing just his BLB stats was, "No, of course not."

But he was 2nd in AAA Outstanding Pitcher voting last year after finishing third in 2023 and second in AA Outstanding pitcher voting in 2022.

He has a career ERA of 3.04 at AA and 2.93 at AAA.

He was briefly on the Top Prospects list.

                              Maybe he is good?
