Quick thoughts on my picks:
3.2 - RP Micah Pearson - My scout thinks this guy can be a big time reliever. He starts in HS, but with just two pitches he's obviously not going to do that in the BLB. But, he strikes out a bunch of people and has done a good job limiting walks in his only HS season. He's a lefty, has great endurance so pitching multiple innings or pitching frequently shouldn't be an issue. Apparently his HS team isn't concerned about his arm, as evidenced by this 10-inning, 176 pitch performance.
4.17 - 1B Kanye Huff - First base only guy in the IL, but he's absolutely raked in his only season of HS ball. OSA is pretty optimistic about his bat, he's listed as durable. Went 5-6 on three separate occasions this season.
4.20 - 2B Jaden Nichlos - Another guy with only one season to go off of, but he performed really well. I like his bat at 2B, with good gap power and an solid all-around profile. Looks like he might be kind of a dick.
With no picks before the third round, it's pretty unlikely that I've gotten a star player, but hopefully at least one of these guys can help eventually. I loaded up on picks in our previous two drafts, so my system is hopefully in good shape already
